The building was designed on a square plan with two main functional areas. From the south, there is an entrance area with cloakroom, technical and staff facilities, a fitness area and spa, as well as grandstands, while the pool area is located on the north side. The facade of the building clearly delineates both parts visually. The pool area is planned to house a ten-track sport pool, with a sliding board and warmup pool. The dimensions and furnishings of the pool will allow the organisation of international level sporting events as well as water polo matches. The two existing reinforced concrete outdoor pools are planned to be replaced by stainless steel pools. The first of these will be a multifunction pool with varying depths, while the second will be fitted with attractions and a separate wading zone for the youngest visitors. Two water slides, of the „Anaconda” and „Multislide” type, have been provided for as well. The facade of the pool area is highly transparent, consisting of glazing over aluminium profiles, and looks out onto the outdoor pools and western park. This is intended to maintain the feeling of continuity and the link between the indoor and outdoor pool areas. The north-western facade is accented at the level of the first floor by a glass bay window, which is functionally a part of the sauna zone with a beautiful view of the western park.
